As much as I love the final designs, Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff had really cool and more cat-like beta designs in the SpaceWorld demo.

I love everything going on here. The color and the expression and the pose are all so cheerful. I’ve never been quite sure how I feel about regular Jumpluff’s design. The pom-pom dandelion arms are a nice idea and could be very expressive but I’ve never seen the thing posed in a way that doesn’t look awkward. Beta Jumpluff has no arms at all but the tail can do fun poses just as well. Maybe if the tail had a dandelion puff on it?
Cottomew AKA Beta Jumpluff! I love any excuse to use floofy fabric on a plush and Cottomew’s body sized dandelion puff was it!

Not all sprites are in the game at the time of posting (when/if Ageman20XX adds them, don’t assume they’re going to be added next update just because I’m posting them, haha). Also a few were edited by Ageman before being added, these are my versions but you can play the game to see the final versions ;D
