Not a request, but a question (unless you want to make HCs for it): When Alpha!Keith left his Alpha and Half-Altean!Omegas (Allura, Lance and Reader) to join the BOM, what do you think would happen during the time when (Insert-dynamic)!Lotor joins Votron? Would Allura be protective of her omegas from him or would something similar happens like in the show (up to the discovery about the other Alteans thanks to Keith’s return with his mother, Krolia)?

• Lotor is an Alpha, no ifs and or buts.

• Galran dynamic culture and Altean dynamics are a little different, but they share more similarities than anything

• Allura would be VERY protective. She doesnt really trust him from the start, but when his eyes start to wander over her omegas, she stops him in his tracks

• Especially because you're still a little messed up that Keith left, you miss him so much and it's genuinely stressful.

• So she's already on edge, bc she wants you and Lance to be safe. She wants you two to be happy and she's struggling with that herself.

• The whole team can sense the tension. Shiro does end up stepping in when he can, scenting both you and Lance when Allura allows it.

• Hunk does the same when Shiros not able to help.

• She's still protective, but she slowly starts to open up to him. She warms up to him and realizes he's not all that bad

• When Lotor learns that you and blue are Alluras omegas (he's yet to find out about keith) he immediately steps back. He may come from a species of 'savages' but he's a prince. And he's respectful. He doesn't want to break anything apart.

• Allura gentles her approaches and protectiveness once she figures that out.

• His eyes are no longer to judge suitability or flirt- when he looks at the omegas he looks at them like friends and teammates

• They become friends and theres less tension which is definitely great for you and Lance because you two dont feel as stressed

• Keith has no idea that this is going on, he doesnt exactly have communication to you

• She wouldn't get chummy with him in this case (but I 100% shipped Lotor and Allura and I'm SO mad they did him like that bc he was genuinely a good guy)

• But they'd become close friends. She'd definitely trust him later on.

• Let's just pretend that the show writers didn't do him like that and they were happy :)

It's kind of like that. Alphas usually go for Omegas and vice-versa. Betas usually stick together. Although they aren't confined to this norm. Allura: Alpha /and damn is she a strong one too. Allura is typical in the sense of being attracted to Omegas. She really likes holding their small frames in her arms. What counts as small frame in Altean is a mystery to the Paladins/ Coran: Beta /and proud. He relys on his neutrality to comfort any type of secondary gender. He could be considered demisexual in human terms because of the crush he used to have on Alfor wHICH HE DENIES/ Keith: Omega /in galran terms, Keith is 100% Omega. Galran omegas are a lot more aggressive than Altean ones. They are usually smaller than Alphas and Betas too. Omegas in Galran society are perceived as too precious so they don't fight. Omegas in Galran society are the only Omegas that were and are ever treated with utmost respect./
