Yesterday Steve and I went exploring around Selby Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. There are many different shops in that area that I had never seen before. I came across a gem of a shop called Spoils of Wear (@spoilsofwear). Spoils of Wear focus on sustainable qualities like fair trade, organic matter, and local production. I’ve finally hit the jackpot of clothing stores! The store was full of cute clothing products as well as jewelry and etcetera accessories. Plus, there’s a cute little pug there to greet you. Loves dogs, sustainable, cute clothes...I had found my newest obsession. I found these adorable (@thoughtclothing) shorts here. They are soft and most importantly, comfortable. Oh, did I mention they’re also made from tree friendly tencel. For those of you who aren’t familiar with tencel, the dictionary defines it as: a cellulosic fiber obtained from wood pulp using recyclable solvents; a fabric made from this. In sum, we should all learn to shop more ethically. Whether it’s purchasing clothing items that are made from sustainable products or simply just going to the thrift store, every little act of mindfulness counts. 🌱 • • • #minnesota #stpaul #shoplocal #mindfulness #alyssainminnesota #aim #blogger #blog #thought #spoilsofwear #sustainablefashion #sustainable #bestiveeverhad
