Laura’s not even sure where she should begin or where her bright, excited irises ought to land next. Chocolate gaze slips about from one nook of his enormous home to the next. She’s never seen anything so... fancy. Even the compound, with its bells and whistles, cannot compare. She feels so out of place, what’s that saying...like a bull in an antique shop? She’s bound to do something wrong, touch the wrong thing, and knowing Tony, pressing the incorrect button means setting off a rocket launcher. Normally such a thought wouldn’t bother her, it’s not her fault that her curiosity sparks the better of her, not her fault she never grew up in a ‘normal’ society where touching things that do not belong to you is such a bad thing.
But, having Tony welcome her HOME means he trusts her in some capacity. At least, he’s trying, and she ought to, too. And so, timid graze draws a finger against the side of the wall while she carefully examines the texture, before gawking over her shoulder at the vast living space. He’s offered her a roof over her head... and then some. She’d definitely appear more excited if she weren’t feeling as though she were nothing more than an inconvenience, a burden. Laura hasn’t even set down her bag in fear she is going to offend him.
“Casa bonita....” she mutters, mostly to herself before she bites at her bottom lip, “Listen, Mr. Stark... I appreciate what you are trying to do but you know that you... do NOT have to do this... I mean this is...” she gestures around her and sighs feeling a bit overwhelmed.
