Pain shot through his side as he picked himself up off of the ground and, licking his lips, he could taste the copper tang of his blood but he didn’t care. Brody was livid. He had lost. To Finn Hudson of all people and he couldn’t stand it. He watched the other guy for a moment before taking a few steps forward. There was no way that he was letting the guy just walk off a winner. No. Brody wanted at him again but it was only the intervention of one of his ‘friends’ that made him turn away. There was no point in going after Finn now. Or so he continued to tell himself as he walked away from the ring. He barely stopped long enough to gather up the bag with his belongings before he was storming out into the cold night air. He barely felt the chill of the night on his overheated skin with his blood boiling and anger still rising. Dropping his bag, he curled his hands into fists. The sound of footsteps behind him had him pausing. Who would be stupid enough to come after him? Couldn’t they see that he just needed to be alone? Firmly believing it was one of his lackeys, he kept his eyes forward and snapped, “What do you want?”
