[Mosaique] [Robert Schröder] [1981] [LP] I still consider "Harmonic Ascendent" to be Robert Schröder's best album, but "Mosaique" comes damn close and is even better in places! . How do I come to that conclusion? Well, there is nothing to criticize except for the track "Aix-la Chapelle". The biggest part is the track "Computervoice". The title suggests possibly coldness and emotionlessness. But exactly the opposite is the case. "Computervoice" is as full of warmth and depth as many a track by the grand master Klaus Schulze, who died far too early last year, and who served as producer on this album yet again. However, it is not a Klaus Schulze copy but characterized by the strong romantic vein of Robert Schröder. . By the way: like many productions of "Innovative Communication" this LP is recorded with 45 rpm and gets a very special charm if you reduce the speed to 33 rpm! .
