I ain't no fool, I know that this shit is absoulety no news to anyone about this particular statement but lemme just dissect this to the deeper end and REALLY emphasizes what I mean. I've been on the internet long enough to see this pattern happening over and over again (ever since 2006) the truth is, people online simply just don't give a single flying fuck, even no matter how cringe, gross, disgusting and or problematic it may be to others (as long as it doesn't bother themselves).
PART 1: THE ARTIST
They don't give a single fucking flying shitty sauce about whats canon and whats not, because if it doesn't align with their own already pretense selfishisticated vision/fantasy then it's basically "blah blah blah icanthearyou" while covering up their ears, unless said canon just so happens to perfectly or closely aligns with their said "vision" But in reality the way how I see it is that everyone has their tolerance of weirdness, ya'll r fucking weirdos and degenerates on the damn interwebz, shameless about it too no secret to that, BUT!!! it's like that one meme (Theres always a bigger fish in the sea). although instead of the word "fish" "in" and "sea" it's "creep, degen, weirdo", "on" and "earth". Point is, is that regardless if said subject is canon or not, everyone has a different tolerance level of weirdness they possess; we all fuckin do because we're all human beings (i hope). But as soon as somebody crosses another person's weirdness tolerance line or whatever, THEN that's where it starts to become a huge problem. (continue to part 2)
PART 2: THE AUDIENCE
But not in the sense of "this isn't canon, therefore I don't like this, I'm uncomfortable with this." (atleast not all the time.) But what's REALLY happening is "I don't like this, Like I REALLY don't like this personally, so I'm gonna use the BUT THAT'S NOT CANON IN THE SHOW just as a cheap excuse, a shitty ass backpedal, and as a way to justify my bitchy, moany and annoyingass behaviour." That shit really just pisses me off to no end, it pisses me even more off knowing that you actually don't give a single fucking shit about the canon (atleast not to that extent.) You just don't like this in particular. So just be fucking upfront about it and say that you don't like it because YOU think it's bad, cringe, mid, whatever negative, insulting words your hollow skull is capable of applying to in a sentence (it ain't gonna stop me from creating more of this "cringe" so great luck lol I hope you suffer more in the long run because of what I do and what I make *evil laughter*. "BuT iTS nOt CanON iN THe sHo-." like, Bitch as if I ever gave a fuck about what was canon or not in the first fucking place. I'd have a single, teensy, tiny, mircoscopic piece grain of sand more respect on your part if you were just more upfront in "ayo this shit cringe, I don't like this but not because it's not canon idc about the canon; I just don't like this in particular") like that. But then after that I'd prob, no, definitely will just cut you off out of my life both online and IRL for good just because we don't agree or see eye to eye on something (one of my more toxic traits...) I just wish people were more honest about canons and fanons online. and I also wish more Artists were just more honest themselves and about "Disrespecting" the canon. Alright I've said enough, imma get back to making some beats n more music now as a form of stress relief lmao.
