Benzoe has to be my favorite resin, seconded closely by Dragon's Blood (with the reason being that I already have too much "dragon" in my own blood and too much of one thing isn't a good thing). We differentiate between Benzoe Siam and Benzoe Sumatra. Although they hardly differ in aroma and property, the Sumatra variation is slightly different in consistency and darker in color, with the chunks being larger and less pebbly. Both resins originate from South East Asia, where they are extracted from the benzoe tree. Benzoe is ideal for anyone who is in need of solace. It gives you the warmth and love you need when your heart is broken or you're suffering from sadness and loneliness. The aroma is very, very potent so it mist be used very sparingly, though it could be compared to the sweetness of bubblegum, but in a much more defined that please the sense of both young and old.
