As soon as his classes came to an end, Sirius was on his way to the hospital wing. The cause of his visit was not him sporting a Quidditch injury or the scars of some stupid dare-- he was visiting Remus, who was recovering from the full moon of just the night before. The boys always made it a duty to spend time with their friend when he was trapped in the hospital wing, since they still could not spend full moons with him. Yet everyday they were getting closer-- Sirius knew that it was only a matter of time now they mastered their animagus abilities and made a breakthrough in Remus’ condition.

For now all he could offer was licorice wands and a packet of homework that Remus had missed. He bustled into the infirmary with a grin on his face, looking about him for Remus’ bed. He spotted the boy near the window overlooking the grounds.

“Your savior has arrived,” Sirius announced, dumping the box of sweets in Remus’ lap. He tossed the homework onto the nearest nightstand. “You’ll need to split that with me, though. My commission,” he winked.
