#benvi edit

So, I just binged watched the entire show (except the last two episodes currently), but this stupid moment was stuck in my brain… i like benvi, I think they had potential and chemistry from the start, BUT… this is one of the examples where i just couldn‘t get over the wasted potential. After everything they‘ve been through - he‘s been through! - Ben Stone has learned nothing, ignores Saanvi‘s warning and gets her basically exiled for 9 months! And I was hoping so much for some redemption or any real show of regret, but that little scene where he‘s regretting it right after does little to make up for it imo. And as she is dragged out he just promises her to fix it and ends up not doing much to save her (or did I miss smth?), the man who gets so invested in saving his loved ones he gets incredibly impulsive just stands by as someone he later claims is as close as his family to him gets dragged out of the door to god knows where. And then 9 months later all of that is just forgotten, no built up trust issues on Saanvis part or regret on Ben’s - just a hug (a very nice one tbf) and everything is perfect again, perfect enough to finally do something about their sexual tension? I get that they didn‘t have much time, but come on - these two had their fair share of secrets and „betrayal“ and completely ignoring that angle was just very unsatisfying to see. - anyway, does that mean I‘ll likely be doomed to think about alternative or missing moments for benvi in the next couple weeks - probably, so maybe I shouldn‘t be complaining…
