A few days late, but here you go!!! :3

1: Who spends almost all their money on the other?

Zexion would probably make more money than Demyx but Demyx would totally spend more, instantly buying anything he thinks Zexion would like. Books, interesting knick knacks, cute/innovative kitchen things, etc.

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

They both do, but usually more Demyx. He’ll sprawl himself across Zexion’s lap and enjoy the warmth. When Zexion’s having trouble relaxing or can’t get to sleep, he’ll rest his head in Dem’s lap and Demyx will play him soft music.

3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?

Demyx is of course the naked one. Zexion doesn’t so much yell as chide him if they’re expecting company. Or tell him to stop leaving his clothes all over the floor.

4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?

They both have shitty sleep schedules but Zexion is worse, constantly staying up to read. Demyx is forever reminding him to PLEASE GET SOME DAMN SLEEP ZEXION FFS.

5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies?

Demyx burned something really badly once and now he’s not allowed to cook without master chef Zexion’s supervision. Btw, Zexion’s cookies are absolutely to die for.

6: Which one reads OTP prompts and says “Oh that’s us!” and which one goes “Eh, not really”?

“Ha! Zexion, look, this is so us!”“…..I wouldn’t do that.”

“Zexion! Zexion! Look, it’s us!”“…Demyx, no.”

“Zeeeeeeeeeexiiiioooonnnn-”“That’s more Axel and Roxas.”

7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes?

Zexion can’t help it that Demyx’s shirts smell so nice. Besides, Zexion’s just a little too small for his clothes to fit Demyx.

8: Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”

I think they’d share the errand-running. But Demyx needs more reminding of things.

9: Which one drives the car and which one gives them directions?

They both drive, but Demyx would be the type to take detours and go whatever way he feels like, even if it’s different every time, while Zexion follows exact directions. So when Demyx is driving, Zexion will have to correct his path every now and then like a tired, human GPS. When Zexion’s driving, Demyx busies himself with the radio or the scenery outside the window.

10: Which one does the posing while the other one draws?

Neither are really artists. Zexion would refuse to pose though.

11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?

Backfilps = physical exertion = sweat, which is “ew, gross” for Demyx. But I don’t really see Zexion doing backflips either. He’d figure out another way through the lasers that requires minimal effort. So uuuuuhhh?

12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?

Zexion’s not a big drinker. Demyx might overdo it if friends are over though. Axel and Xigbar are horrible influences.

13: Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?

Going back to #1, this would be Demyx. Miniature books, fun tea infusers, etc.

14: Which one keeps accidentally using the other’s last name instead of their own?

In an AU setting, Demyx keeps using Zexion’s last name. Zexion secretly enjoys it and doesn’t correct him.

15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?

“Demyx, stop screaming.” *Zexion places a cup over the spider.*

16: Which one gives the other their jacket?

Headcanon that Demyx is generally always warmer than Zexion. He’ll happily share his jacket/hoodie/coat with Zexion.

17: Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?

AU time again. Ummm. N(erd)LOSR? I don’t think Marluxia would really -threaten- Zexion, maybe more carefully warn him not to hurt his precious baby brother?

18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?

I’m a fan of them dancing around each other until Zexion decides to take charge and ask Demyx out. But Dem just blurting it out is good too.

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?

Zexion would be a book parent. Researches everything. Demyx wings it. But they’d balance each other out. Dem keeps Zexion from being too strict, Zexion keeps Demyx from being too reckless and spoilery.

20: Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?

Come on, this one’s pretty obvious. Hell, Demyx even throws in emojis instead of words and it drives Zexion crazy.

21: Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them?

They can both handle themselves well enough, but PopularKid!Demyx will totally jump to Nerd!Zexion’s rescue.

22: Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun?

Demyx has so many puns. So many. So much sighing from Zexion.

23: Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy?

“Demyx, what is in your shirt?”“Huh? There’s nothing in my shirt.”*Bark bark*“Demyx.”“There’s nothing in my shirt!!!”

24: Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired?

Zexion both refuses to give and take piggyback rides. That’s way too undignified for him.

25: Which one competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealous cheering?

At Dem’x concerts, Zexion maybe claps a little louder than the average person, but he won’t go wild. Demyx on the other hand, will totally go all soccer-parent and be the loudest one.

26: Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?

;D Oh hey, I already have a fic about this. 

27: Which one would give the other a makeover if they asked?

Uhhh, I guess Demyx would give Zexion the makeover? But he loves Zexion just the way he is, sooo *shrugs*.

28: Which one owns a pet that the other is absolutely terrified of?

Look, Zexion having a cat is my fucking jam. But for the sake of this question, maybe he’d have like a snake or a tarantula and poor, poor Demyx won’t step within 10 feet of it.

29: Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?

Demyx is the taller one, so he gets to be the designated umbrella holder.

30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?

who is more likely to hurt the other? Zexion’s the one with all the words. He knows just the right things to say to really bite into someone. Sometimes he could just be cold or dismissive without really meaning to, his mind’s just on a bunch of other things.

who is emotionally stronger? Hmm, Zexion can probably take a little more than Demyx. Like, Demyx will brush things off, but they actually secretly bother him and he’ll only take so much. Whereas Zexion would be more genuinely unfazed.

who is physically stronger? Smol sasspants who literally beats people with books or lazybutt who swings around a big (metal?) sitar that’s almost as big as he is? I’m gonna go with Demyx on this one.

who is more likely to break a bone? Demyx getting a little too overexcited about things and crashing into something.

who knows best what to say to upset the other? As I said earlier, Zexion’s the one with the words.

who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? Demyx because it’ll just eat away at him until he can’t take it anymore, whereas Zexion has a cooldown and takes some quiet time before he even realizes he should apologize.

who treats who’s wounds more often? Neither of them enjoy fighting in the slightest, but Zexion’s moves are totally calculated whereas Demyx is a messy, haphazard fighter and more likely to get injured.

who is in constant need of comfort? I want to say both. Demyx is just more obvious about it. He’ll seek Zexion out when he needs some warm cuddles and a soothing voice telling him he’ll be okay. Zexion, however, will close himself off and Demyx will eventually pick up on it and wrap around him like a warm boyfriend blanket.

who gets more jealous? Demyx is much more social and friendly than Zexion but is totally oblivious to anyone hitting on him. Cue death glares from Zexion.

who’s most likely to walk out on the other? Ooohhh… I’m going to say Demyx. Zexion would likely say something that goes too far and Demyx can only take so much.

who will propose? They both quietly agonize over it until Demyx starts agonizing over it not so quietly and Zexion realizes it’s up to him to do this or it won’t happen.

who has the most difficult parents? Ok, now we’re going AU territory here, which… I’m trying to think of anything Zemyx I’ve written where they have parents and I can only think of N(erd)LOSR and in that Dem’s parents are barely around and they’re pretty nice anyway but Zexion has Vexen, soooo I’m gonna say Zexion’s the one with the difficult parent here. Pffftt.

who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? Zexion doesn’t initiate PDA, but he won’t pull away when Demyx reaches for his hand. :3

who comes up for the other all the time? I’m not 100% sure what this means, but Demyx will seek out Zexion more than the other way around.

who hogs the blankets? Demyx is a sleep starfish while Zexion is a blanket gremlin who needs warmth.

who gets more sad? They both get sad but Demyx is more visually obvious about it and Zexion goes quiet.

who is better at cheering the other up? Demyx is a sweet nugget who will do anything and everything to cheer someone up, especially Zexion. Not that Zexion doesn’t try, but he’s more subtle with his attempts to cheer Demyx up, often bringing him food he knows Demyx loves and offering to play a game together.

who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? Demyx will come up with the worst. puns. ever. Also, he'll spout memes like a fountain. He gets a book shoved in his face every time.

who is more streetwise? Totally Demyx. Zexion’s an indoor hermit.

who is more wise? Zexion of course, but every now and then, Demyx will impart some odd, philosophical wisdom. Zexion lives for those moments.

who’s the shyest? Demyx is super outgoing and Zexion’s a bit quiet but he’s not really shy, so idk???

who boasts about the other more? Demyx would grab a megaphone, jump up onto chairs and tables, and rant to the world about all the ways Zexion is wonderful and how much he loves him. Zexion’s much more subtle, slipping little things about Demyx into casual conversation.

who sits on who’s lap? Demyx tries. He tries so hard. But Zexion can’t flippin read with a lapful of Demyx, so he’ll bat him away and then retaliate later by crawling into Demyx’s lap when Dem’s practicing his music. Joke’s on him though, Demyx will totally figure out a way to play with Zexion in his lap.
