@writingwhilecaffeinated and I have some goal dates but life of course is a cruel mistress. So we are trying hard to get the end up and posted by our personal dates chosen, but we can't promise anything.

That said, the anniversary of posting this story is February 24, 2024 and we're nearly there! Can we finish on the anniversary? Fingers crossed and send all your good vibes!

Life has been rough for us both, lots of things happening. We each had to say goodbye to beloved pets, she her sassy amazing cat and me my soulmate doggo, my grandparents are sort of one foot in the grave (sorry if that's flippant but it's been my reality for a few years now), and she other annoying and icky personal stuff.

Things are hard all around for everyone. Take care of yourselves and one another. No human is illegal, do what's best for you and yours so long as you aren't hurting others, and find joy in even the little things.

In the meantime, give Unspooled Thread a reread in anticipation of the finale, share with a friend, make a fanfic book club with it. Spread the word about the fic so it doesn't get lost in the upcoming influx of Benedict and Sophie fics 😂

3. what work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

2025 was truly my flop era ngl, but i had sooo much fun writing 8:05 (polin fic) and am super happy with how it turned out.

i’d also have to say you could be my forever-night stand (buddie fic) because i basically wrote the whole thing in a day and it just felt good to be so inspired.

12. how many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?

oh my god…so many lmao.

buddie fics: single glimpse is still a wip with 9 chapters left to write, a messy fwb one inspired by wishbone is next, a semi-textfic s2 era au, cowboy eddie, supernatural x 911 two-shot, apocalypse fic for halloween

everything else: i’d love to tie up my bridgerton breakfast club au and my benelope fic, and i’d LOVE to finish my on my block longfic. i also promised my friend a sort of steddie s5 coda so that will be written at some point soon too

no official wips yet but i’m also pondering some more harringrove ideas for 2026

27. what do you listen to while writing?

depends!! i made a playlist for single glimpse and was initially just listening to epiphany by ts on repeat, but recently i’ve been listening to the final fight by conan gray for eddie chapters and winner for buck chapters.

i listened to wishbone on repeat while writing forever-night stand and that’s what inspired the messy fwb wip too.

i wrote my fic about buddie going to the eras tour and chris getting the 22 hat while listening to thoroughfare, waco, texas and a house in nebraska by ethel cain.
