With most of the attention always being on Sangiovese in Tuscany, it's always nice to meet wine producers that work with #canaiolo. In most Tuscan wines there is always some canaiolo hidden somewhere. @laquerce you can find a 100% canaiolo in #belrosso, with lots of freshness and spice on the nose, in the mouth it is silk fruit, like nothing you have ever tasted. And, they don't stop there. Versatility of this grape is immense, and after dinner I also had the chance to taste #passito from this grape varietal. Bunches are gently twisted on the vines to cut of the circulation in order for the grapes to achieve sweetness, body, and complexity that is un parallel to any other passito I have tasted.
