❤️✨Thank you so much to all of you that have supported me with your love and encouragement this year! Thank you to my friends & family who were patient when I️ disappeared for a couple of months for Zac & Mia (twice) this year! Thank you to those of you that referred me for jobs or hired me yourself. You helped to create awesome memories! Thank you to all of the cast and crew members that have continued to teach me things about the industry and about myself that I didn’t know before. I love that I️ get to learn something new from every person I️ work with. Thank you to all those that challenge and inspire me to work harder than I ever have before! 💕 This year I have learned how to be better at accepting help in my personal and professional life, to go with the flow a little more and to continue to stick up for myself and those around me. I have learned just how important politics are and how one person can truly make a difference, whether it be small or large. This year I️ realized I️ still haven’t figured out work life balance, but I️ did make a choice to pay more attention to self care - even when working 14-16 hour days. In 2018, a few of my biggest goals are to continue to strengthen my mental and physical health, qualify and be accepted into the 706 union (!!!), continue to fight for what I️ believe in socially and politically and also go on another amazing vaca with my love @jasonperlman (and take a solo trip for myself). I hope to continue to accept wonderful opportunities around me that I can bring my talented friends on board to share with me! Whatever your goals are for 2018, remember that kindness and love will always help you achieve them, while simultaneously leaving a positive mark on the world. One of my favorite bellies I got to paint for @sarablakely’s #bellyartproject was the beautiful @holly_branson who was carrying twins a few years ago. I’m painting a couple of bellies this week and it has me looking back a bit! Funny story about this one...we shot this in London and due to time constraints and product availability at the time, I had to order certain waterproof body paints from a UK store and have them shipped to our location so they’d be there when we landed. Apparently the only waterproof paint that didn’t make it was the color white, which was kind of important for this job, especially since this look needed to be shot in a pool in addition to this beautiful shot in front of an indoor waterfall wall. My producer @chelseamcsunshine and I were panicking a little, but it ended up working out ok...after literally tracking down packages at a mail delivery place since it went to the wrong address on the morning of the shoot...and then dealing with the white melting away in the pool after we got the shot. 😓 REGARDLESS, everything ended up working out and we had some stunninnng shots taken by @rupertpeace. @ginnibogado slayed the hair and makeup as well! It was a wild 4 days (including travel haha) but it was so much fun and I loved every minute of it! So many memories from that trip!
