Isn’t it refreshing when you see a group of strong women supporting each other instead of competing with one another? The truth is that there is room for each of us females to succeed. We need more women who uplift other women, as opposed to tearing them down. Let’s HELP each other get where we wanna be.

Nashville might not be where I was born (even though I am a Tennessee girl) but I quickly accepted it as home. I am in love with this city and the people. I have honestly met the most amazing group of women that I now call my best friends and keep meeting more and more empowering women each day. Impressive is an understatement. This is a city of girl bosses. From hair stylists, bloggers, makeup artists, personal trainers, estheticians, business owners, fashion models, chefs…you name it, I can tell you a woman who blows it out of the water. We are a powerhouse city of creative minds and I dig it. Hard.  I am beyond proud of the women in our city.

I am beyond ecstatic to be included in the round-up of fellow Nashville bloggers to promote an uplifting event for women by Creative Souls called, “The Art Of Being A Woman.”  Often at times as women we take on so much pressure and the burden of being able to conquer it all. That’s one of the reasons why Creative Souls is partnering together with Belle and Callie Stydahar to tear down the facade of being superwomen.

The Art of Being a Woman is an opportunity to socialize with other Nashville female powerhouses, get dolled up by Belle’s make-up and massage professionals, enjoy cocktails from Picker’s Vodka and hear Callie’s inspirational story of helping women see their true beauty. It’s wonderful and comforting to know that after all the struggles we face daily (as mothers, entrepreneurs, students, etc) we can band together and talk about the real issues together.
