This recipe is a fun take on the classic burger. The bun is purple corn tortillas, the patty is grilled chicken, and the sauce is a tasty yogurt. This burger looks great and tastes great, so it's sure to impress.
Ingredients: 4 purple corn tortillas. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup Greek yogurt. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 tomato, sliced. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 4 slices of Swiss cheese optional. 4 pickle slices optional.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Add salt and pepper to the chicken breasts and brush them with olive oil. Grill the chicken for six to eight minutes on each side, or until it's done. Leave to rest. Cut up some garlic and put it in a small bowl with some lemon juice and dried oregano. This will make the yogurt sauce. For about 30 seconds on each side, warm up the purple corn tortillas on the grill. Put a grilled chicken breast on each tortilla to make the burgers. If you want, you can add Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion on top. Add the yogurt sauce on top of the toppings. If you want, you can add pickle slices.
