All I wanted for spring break this year was to soak up the sun and do absolutely nothing. And that is exactly what I got. 

I was very ready to say goodbye and good riddance to snow. 

Waking up to this view every morning was definitely not bad at all. 

And even though I didn’t bring my DSLR with me, I was able to capture a nice shot or two with my iPhone. 

And we got some culture in as well. But I really think my favorite part was...

swimming in the cenote. The water was freezing and did not get any warmer as we swam around, but I think it was one of the best things we did. Even with our racist tour guide and long bus rides. 

We admired Chichen Itza together. 

And had a few minutes to be surrounded by the colorful buildings of the city.
