All I wanted for spring break this year was to soak up the sun and do absolutely nothing. And that is exactly what I got.Â
I was very ready to say goodbye and good riddance to snow.Â
Waking up to this view every morning was definitely not bad at all.Â
And even though I didn’t bring my DSLR with me, I was able to capture a nice shot or two with my iPhone.Â
And we got some culture in as well. But I really think my favorite part was...
swimming in the cenote. The water was freezing and did not get any warmer as we swam around, but I think it was one of the best things we did. Even with our racist tour guide and long bus rides.Â
We admired Chichen Itza together.Â
And had a few minutes to be surrounded by the colorful buildings of the city.Â
All in all, it was a good four days spent laughing, eating, and exploring. Thanks for the memories, class of 2015. Let’s live it up for the remaining 2 months.Â
