Hello :) Hmm, well there are different ways to do it, I believe. I usually use Polygonal lasso tool, I trace the part of the image that I want to retain and then once its already selected, I hit right click then select inverse, and then I hit delete. Then, there you go. Pero, I believe the erase tool can also be used, zoom nyo lang po yung picture, mga 200 % to 300 para clean yung edges. Or you can also do it in quick mask. Just press Q, then use the brush tool (better if you use 50-60%hardness). Then just use the brush tool to cover all the part of the image you want to retain, then click Q again, it shall select the reverse of what you had covered. Just click delete and you’re done. Hee. I wish I could do screencaps, but I’m kind of doing something.

Hmmm, you can do an "about me" section by adding a page. Just go to tumblr.com/customize, then click + Add a Page. On the page, just edit the title and the body with the description about yourself, like your name etc and you can also add in your pictures there. I belive there's an upload button for images there, just like on a normal text post. Hee. Hope this helps! If you still need help, just ask me. :)
