Todays Word Of The Day is: Obfuscate
The word 'obfuscate' originates from the Latin word 'obfuscare'. It means 'to darken' or 'obscure'. This word combines 'ob-' (toward) and 'fuscus' (dark). Originally referring to darkening. Now it means to deliberately make something unclear and confusing.
Befuddle (3rd Level, Enchantment)
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: 10 feet
Components: S, M (a puzzle or written riddle)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 min.
Classes: Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
When you cast this spell, choose a creature within range, forcing them to make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, bands of magical energy form around the target’s wrists and neck, restraining them for the duration of the spell. The target can repeat the saving throw at the start of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. As long as the target remains restrained, you have advantage on all Intelligence-based ability checks and saving throws, and you can use an action on your turn to read the target’s thoughts.
