A few things for today:
The main blog will reblog Peter's toast later on with the feast narration post. So be prepared for some drama. And get excited and all that jazz. (Also, please message me if you have questions about it.)
Please also post an update about what all of your characters have been doing over the last few months.
Finally, remember that threads started after the main blog's narration post should be tagged 'afterthetoast'.
Thanks and love you, as always. :)
Mentor and Protege || Cornelia and Elia
Queen Corneila was staring down at the feast with her face set, the creatures in the room moving through her vision only as colourful blurs. Soon she would have to speak to her granddaughter, who was somewhere down amongst the festivities, but she did not wish to leave her place at the high table just yet. For now, she was waiting.
Her last correspondence from Rabadash had been suspicious without any clear reason to be, as if the new Tisroc was trying to tell her something in code when she did not have the key to unlock it. King Edmund had been moving through the crowd more like a constable than a royal all evening, and the Narnian guards were standing tense and uneasy at their posts.
A cold, ancient smile snaked its way onto her cheeks. Something was indeed off.
One of the blurs caught her attention and she focused her vision, Count Dorian was looking up at her. She returned his nod with just the slightest movement of her head and he did the same before moving off into the crowd. She finished her wine.
"Flintly, Tulle," she called to her guards, who both stepped forward silently. "Find my granddaughter, and bring her to me now."
Of Dancing Elves|| Karliah & Eoghan
Karliah was more than pleased with her evening. It was better than she had hoped, not that she had hoped for much to start with, her point for being there completed. Now she was simply enjoying the merriment, knowing that such a thing was something which she may not experience again. After all, it was only a matter of time before her past was laid out before them all.
After dancing with Tumnus, she had met another faun named Easlmus, with whom she was now dancing. She had recognized him as the young faun whom she had seen dancing much earlier in the night. As she had thought, He was light on his hooves, and quite enjoyable company. Karliah couldn't remember the last time she had danced so much, and wondered why it was she didn't do it more often.
Easlmus informed her that they would soon be switching partners, the dance requiring it, and bid her to enjoy the rest of her night if they did not meet again. Thanking him, she turned around to meet her new partner at the beat that the music required.
"Good evening" she greeted.

Home Is Where the Party Is || OPEN
I fear you may have had one too few drinks, my friend.
Here is another. Take it.
Gratitude || Karliah & Tumnus
Her conversation with the Queen was finished, the interaction leaving her slightly shaken up -- not that she would admit it. Looking around the room, she found her hosts face, wanting to thank him for his invitation. Maybe, if she played her cards right, she might be able to get him to dance with her, as she still hadn't done so and wished to. As the queen had said, he looked to be a fair dancer, but would only be so if she got to him before the wine did.
Besides it, she wished to inform him that she had spoken to the King as he had suggested, after all he would want to know. She thought of how he might react to hear that she had angered the King, and vaguely wondered if she should leave that particular detail off... after all, she knew how loyal he was. To be sure, her conversation with Susan was going to be kept to herself, she didn't need him knowing about that in any way.
He was busy talking to someone else when she approached him, careful to stay out of the way until he was finished. When he was, she finally made her presence known. "Enjoying the celebration, Master Tumnus?" she asked, purposefully using the prefix to his name.
