I am so in love with this combo…it’s a little hard to photograph but you get the idea. BETABEL. Parte I. En lo personal, amo el betabel, sobretodo rallado, en ensaladas o sándwiches de pechuga de pollo con pan de centeno, ¿apoco no se te antoja? Procuro siempre incluirlo en cantidades adecuadas dentro de los planes de alimentación que diseño para mis pacientes. Su jugo rojo es "antianémico". Conocida en algunos lugares como remolacha de mesa, remolacha colorada, remolacha de huerta, beet en inglés, etc. Empezando por su color rojo sangre, da notas alegres de color a los platos de ensalada y a la comida que acompañe. Tiene un pigmento llamado betacianina responsable de su apariencia sangrienta que deja huella hasta en la orina.
