I have more work to do on the family but I wanted this house/story to have a story of a family buying this fixer upper with the intent of turning it into a cozy home. But then their military father was called away to duty. An urn now inhabits their home in his place and, much like the house they inhabit, the family is a devastated and neglected remnant of what it once was. Can they pull through together, or is the damage too great?
