For the pillars asks: Burned Lady, Dyrcap, and Golden Celery!
Thanks! I’m going to answer these for both of my Watchers.
Burned Lady: What is your Watcher’s opinion on the Godhammer? Does it change any previous opinions about Magran?
Kit: Whenever Durance is being particularly annoying, Kit starts ceaselessly asking him about the Godhammer’s technical specs until he shuts up. She is actually very interested in that, and she is very excited to see it with her own eyes later in BOW. She isn’t really surprised at the events concerning Magran and the Godhammer, because her opinion of the gods is already pretty low, but it does further cement that opinion for her.
Hakona: Hakona is, at first, impressed with the idea of the Godhammer (though she doesn’t get along with Durance at all), but once she learns the truth about what happened to its creators, it shakes her pretty badly. It’s a taste of how even gods that she admires / follows can and often do turn on or abandon their believers, and so it’s crucial to her faith in Magran starting to unravel, as well as her beginning to question the gods instead of blindly believing that they know better.
Dyrcap: The Dozens, House Doemenel, or the Crucible Knights?
Answered here!
Golden Celery: Which of the game one companions were in your Watcher’s main party? Are there any members in the party that you ship your Watcher with?
Kit: Edér, Aloth, Pallegina, Grieving Mother, and Kana or Hiravias filling in the fifth spot are probably her closest pals, though Kit loves them all very much and gets along with pretty much everyone (sans Durance, naturally). Kit/Edér is Kit’s main companion ship, though she isn’t really aware of her feelings until sometime between games, and Edér thinks about it sometime during POE1 and comes to the conclusion that she couldn’t be interested in him. (The slowest of burns.)
Hakona: Sagani, Edér, Pallegina, Devil, and Maneha are the ones that Hakona gets along with best, although it might be more accurate to say that they butt heads the least. I like the idea of Hakona/Pallegina in the second game, when Hakona has grown a little bit. They’re still a little too different in the first game, though they get along surprisingly well despite their differing reactions to the gods and being godlike, since they share a profession and sense of duty.
(Although in-game I just go with whatever party comp is best suited for the situation, lol.)
