Merlin, being old and immortal, saw most (if not all) of the knights of the Round Table going from babies/toddlers to brave young adults. He used to scolded them and put them in their places whenever they were trying to bully the old man he is. Except Gareth, because she is best girl, just like her auntie, and Merlin is actually soft for the two of them.
