20. What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet your expectations?

Probably The Tyrant Baru Cormorant, which not only met my expectations, but exceeded them.

23. What’s the fastest time it took you to read a book?

1. what are you currently reading? how would you rate it so far? 

I am halfway through The Power by Naomi Alderman and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. I can’t quite commit to a 5/5 just yet, so let’s say 4/5.

2. what was the last book you rated 5/5?

Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell

I can’t help but admire the mastery with which the tones and genres shift and merge.

5. do you prefer to drink soda from soda cans, soda bottles, plastic cups or glass cups?

Diet coke from a can is just the superior way to drink it. It’s just a fact.

15. favorite book you read as a school assignment?

Black Boy by Richard Wright, mostly its the one I remember vividly to this day. (If we don’t count Methods for the Economic Evaluation of healthcare programmes by Michael Drummond et al, which I read for my masters and is also pretty damn #iconic).

25. first song you remember hearing?

Coming Around Again by Carly Simon, which was my favourite song because it talks about mummy, daddy and baby. I mean I think its actually about domestic violence, but I was 3. (by comparison my brother’s first favourite song was I wanna dance with someone who loves me, a far better choice)

52. favorite font?

i watched can you ever forgive me on an airplane and it wasn't until the last 2 minutes i realized it was set in the early 90s. i just thought everyone had quirky/bad fashion and that lee israel was an eccentric who preferred typewriters over computers. sleep deprived motherhood strikes again *shrug*

I really wanted to make a poster/flyer like this but I was having trouble coming up with content and putting my ideas into words, but the wonderful @bedannibal-lectaurier and @bedeliainwonderland had the perfect concepts for me to play around with! Thank you guys for letting me use your entries! I tweaked around a bit, I hope you don’t mind.

School crest: Concept credit goes to @bedannibal-lectaurier​ with her post here I only added some stuff in the crest, like the book which represents knowledge and learning, and swords which are used to symbolize honor in the Tremontaine universe. The swan has its wings spread now, because our Duchess is about to bring Tremontaine house into new heights...

Courses: Credit to @bedeliainwonderland​ here! I only expanded Kinwiinik Studies into Foreign Cultures to cover more interesting foreign lands out there.

Diane Duchess Tremontaine signs this off for approval of course, and she has to admit that yes, it’s not so bad... Rafe Fenton knows useful people after all and- What are those in the borders?
