Robin was just grabbing some coffee from the mess deck and headed to his office, when he passed by Beck in the hall.  He’d learned a very interesting piece of information about the pilot at the gala, but hadn’t been alone in the same place to ask her about it.  Until now, anyway.  She was walking away, maybe to head back to the cockpit, so he was losing his opportunity.  Unable to think of any better way to phrase this in .2 seconds, Robin blurted out, “Hey--I know your mum.”
