Be unapologetically yourself, wear the suit, and eat the donut.👏🏻😀 • We put too much energy into thinking we’re being judged all the time. What will people think if I wear that or eat this? Crap - who cares.🤷🏼♀️ Life is too short to let mental clutter have that much control. • I will share that I’m at the age where I just want to be realistically healthy, happy, avoid drama, honor God, and love myself the best I can. • This weekend that meant totally unplugging from social media. We hit up a new lake, enjoyed great food, and friends. It was a much needed relaxing break from our normal routine. • I also wore this new one piece swimsuit (thanks hubby for the picture❤️). My very first ever onesie swimmie. Not kidding. I’ve always been a bikini girl and guess felt a negative stigma towards them. Like it meant once reaching a certain age, you were supposed to wear a one piece.😳 That was my negative clutter to get rid of. Because it’s not about the suit but the person inside the suit. And I found it to be almost more flattering than my bikinis.(I have shared front and back images - swipe right). Another awesome detail is I bought it at TJMax at a greatly reduced price. The suit is @beccaswim in case you’re wondering. • I ate chocolate covered donuts, barbecued chicken legs, homemade potato salad, and had a few cocktails. Then enjoyed pizza with the kids when we got home. • I believe in a balanced realistic healthy life. I don’t diet or weigh myself (unless I’m just curious). I eat right most of the time so don’t sweat indulgence. I also exercise regularly because I love how it makes me feel not as a punishment for something I ate. • I wish we could all relax more and just live a healthy lifestyle.
