Confessions
Confession: I haven’t written anything creative or new in ages, and it’s starting to wear on me. Confession: That fear that I have nothing to say rings pretty loud these days. Confession: My own voice rings louder.
Confession: There is so much I need to write about, but can’t. Confession: Like the reasons why I spent the last four days crying. Confession: Like the good stuff I have to keep secret, maybe forever.
Confession: Nothing eats at me quite like the idea that there are parents out there who don’t love their kids no matter what.Â
Confession: I need friends. Bona fide IRL friends who can fit me into their schedules semi-regularly and take me on the adventures I won’t go on by myself. Confession: and if they were cool with excessive hugs, that’d be a huge bonus.
Confession: That negativity spiral that comes from anxiety and says nobody wants me has been pretty loud lately.Â
Confession: I am planning a SECRET THING, and not being able to tell people is starting to eat at me.Â
Confession: for the scaredy cat that I am, going to see Jurassic World right before bedtime last night was not the smartest call I’ve ever made. Confession: It was worth it, even if I did wake up in the middle of the night afraid of dinosaurs. Confession: I want to know how many stunt doubles had twisted ankles from the t-rex run. Cause while I believe the character totally made that run in heels and didn’t have issues--that ground was super uneven and there was a moment when it looked like that heel stuck and an ankle rolled. Idea: I think the T-Rex Run marathon should be a thing. Confession: I didn’t think a Jurassic Park movie could ever make me feel anything for velociraptors. I stand corrected.
