"Ending 2019 how I started it #exhausted 💤 I was searching for the “perfect” picture to sum up this past year, but then I came across this pic and realized that this not so attractive pic right here sums it up pretty perfectly 😏😴 #tiredasamother . I would say this is what 3 days #postpartum looks like, but this is basically how I pass out on the couch most nights at 8pm after a long day of mommin 😬(please tell me I’m not the only open mouth sleeper here 🙈). Why in the world would I post this picture for 40 some thousand of you to see? . Perhaps a brief lapse in judgement that I’ll regret immediately after I hit share 😂 or maybe it’s because I really just want all of you new moms, old moms, soon to be moms, and hopeful to be moms to know that motherhood is REAL and it’s hard and it’s tiring! It’s not the staged photos you see of a mom and her kids looking super happy and put together in a spotless house. Yes, those photos make for pretty instagram content, but is that what motherhood actually looks like? For some people, maybe it does. For me...Not so much 🤷🏻♀️ . This year has been full of SO many beautiful moments and definitely a lot of challenging ones and I wouldn’t trade them for anything ❤️ Thank you all for following my journey and for all of your support this year!
