You know what I don't get. Why people act as if physical beauty shouldn't be valued and as if you're shallow for appeciating what someone looks like. Models are made out to people of less value than those of great intellect, BUT WHY? Surely you're no more of a better person for being intelligent than being beautiful, because if you're simply born that way it's a gift you've been given either way, as opposed to something you've strived hard to achieve. I can understand why people think kindness and being a good person is more valuable than being beautiful but why is intellect perceived to be so much more valuable than beauty?
