Mako RADIATES himbo energy. I’ll be very honest, I don’t have many headcanons for him, but I DID just finish reading @ink-flavored incredible bartender AU Whiskey no Chaser and let me tell you, Mako Tsunami as a WAY TOO EAGER bartender fills me with joy.

Okay first time answering an ask, here we goooo!

4. Are there any writers that inspire you?

Uhhh honestly the biggest one is probably Rimi over at @eijispumpkin. I recently informed them that despite being aromantic, I would, in fact, marry their writing. I just admire them so much??? It’s hard to put into words so please just read paper boats if you need an explanation. I also look up to @norisquared​ quite a bit as well, especially their ongoing bodyswap soulmate AU, and I’ve recently gotten really into the ficlets that @justficit​ does on their blog, though unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to check out their AO3 yet. (Sorry if I got anyone’s pronouns wrong! Everyone is they/them until proven otherwise.)

As far as traditionally published authors, I’m a huge fan of YA contemporary, so some fave authors include John Green, Becky Albertalli, and Adam Silvera. In adult fiction I’m a fan of Stephen King and Orson Scott Card (not as a human being though). I could go on but this is gonna get long if I continue, sorry!

22. Do you listen to anything while you write?

I’m pretty much always listening to something, writing or no. I love music, and singing is another hobby of mine outside of writing. What I listen to depends. I don’t really have mood or character playlists, so a lot of times I’ll just put my whole Spotify library on shuffle. Other times it’ll just be an artist or album I’m really into at the moment. If I’m having trouble concentrating and just need something in the background that won’t distract me, I love instrumentals and piano music. (Like the Banana Fish OST, for example, or the instrumental song “Yuri on ICE” from ... Yuri on Ice, or Freddy Chopin’s stuff.)

32. Summarize a random fic of yours in 10 words or less.

Hmm, well a couple of my summaries from AO3 already match this, including my soulmate WIP!

yep. Honestly I dont care for while loops in general. if only it was possible to write everything in if statements and for loops.

No we don’t answer ask for the alpha trolls. Partly because which set of trolls is the “alpha trolls” set is up for debate. I have a feeling you are talking about the pre-scratch trolls. (I am on the side that the alpha trolls are Karkat and company.)
