Buchonista (Noun. Plural: Buchonistas)
Buchón: Originally, this term referred to those guys who planted weed back in their farmland lots near or in the mountainous areas of Sinaloa, Durango and Chihuahua. Now it refers to those men involved in certain type of business. Therefore, they refer to themeselves as empresarios. They may be young, plebes, or old, viejones. If they are driving a Camaro, carrying big guns and having at least one corrido named after them, you can be 100% sure you’re looking at a buchón. And yes, they score the hottest girls in town.
Buchonista: Portmanteau of buchón and fashionista. Since narcocultura has permeated Mexican youth culture, it is no a big surprise to see the young imitate the dress code and habits of some well known empresarios or instagram juniors. They have become fond of Armani Exchange, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Ferragamo and other exclusive brands, if they can afford it. They may listen to Corridos, Banda, Movimiento Alterado and other sub-genres of Mexican Regional Music in their trocas (pick up trucks). They will proudly boast they come from Sinaloa State, Tijuana or Guadalajara. They’re mostly urbanites, no matter how much they say they come from a rural background. The least aflluent of the buchonista subtype may wear imitation designer brands or more affordable designer clothes (they still look hot and make me cream in my panties). No wonder why buchonistas score lots of female pussy.
Barbón. A bearded guy. BEARDSINN is a specialized tumblr blog that has popularized pics from this type of men, retrieved from their twitter, facebook or Instagram accounts. Personally, I don’t feel attracted to Mexican hipster guys, too trendy, pretentious and superficial. Most of them consider their beard more of a fashion accessory than a symbol of manhood. This is where BEARDSINN comes in. Most of the barbones posted there may come from the more affluent kind of buchonistas. Those bearded alpha males look hot and make me to book a flight to Mazatlán or Guadalajara. The beard has become a signature of manliness and dare. Buchonistas make the beard look fucking hot.
Where to find buchonistas
Wherever there are bars that cater to Banda and Corridos fans. Practically all the country. Buchon culture has extended to the Southern, Eastern and Western Mexican states. This subculture has permeated low class and even middle class members of Mexican society. Wherever you hear Gerardo Ortiz, El Komander, Ariel Camacho and Chalino Sánchez music loud you will find buchonistas. Look for them in Regional Mexican music concerts, bars, coleaderos, rodeos, charrerÃa events, small city main squares, county and town fairs. You don’t need to go to Mexico to hook up with these guys. Even in Illinois, Georgia, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and Texas you will find these handsome men. Learn Spanish for heaven’s sake!
Hook up difficulty
Varying degrees of difficulty. Easy to Medium Level. Factors like being not so effeminate, a forward, humble easygoing attitude and being perceived as a serious and trustworthy ‘compa’ will play on your favor. If you are an arrogant prick, an effeminate guy or an indiscreet sex partner you may not get what’s hiding behind their braguetas. Go out with them several times, get hammered in a parranda to get to know each other. Eventually they will realize you are a closet puto once they know you are not married or in a relationship with a female partner. In Mexico, no man is alone (without family or spouse). The older you are, the more sure they will feel about you enjoying vergas. They may shun you right away or not once they learn about your confirmed bachelor status. Things get easier if you’re married and in the down-low.  If lucky, you’ll feel their beards scratching your raja and nalgas.
Note: No matter what buchonistas or barbones, they all like to wear tight jeans, designer shoes, get hammered with Buchanan’s (Moët-Chandon for the well off) and listen to Mexican music. They may wear a Texan sombrero or a trucker hat. Most of them were born or grew up in the Northern states of Mexico. They melt me with their hot Norteño accents and make me want to lick the soles of their boots and get spanked by their cintos piteados (belts).
