Mack wasn't sure what all this Founder's Day nonsense was, but they figured they might as well try and enjoy the festivities. In the not quite a month since finding an apartment, which had led to some weird looks from the landlord upon seeing their name, they hadn't actually, y'know, done anything besides work and sleep and try not to panic over the whole being in one place for a semi-permanent amount of time. So, admittedly, it was even stranger to be out and about during festivities they didn't understand the meaning of. Sure, they vaguely understood the concept but it definitely wasn't something they'd ever participated in. Small towns were strange and this one was no different, which they supposed was its own kind of comfort. The area was packed and it was making Mack nervous, which meant they needed to get away from the crowds as soon as possible, which would have been an easy feat, had they not promptly run directly into someone and nearly fell. "Sorry, uh... do you happen to know where a person can get away from this chaos?"
