My day? It was very uneventful but also very dramatic. 

I was supposed to get on a bus in the morning to come home to NYC from my parents’ house but I was told by multiple people to wait in the lobby of the hotel where the bus stops and they’d call us when the bus got there but I guess that was not correct because that did not happen and the bus left without me. So like a sensible adult I became completely unhinged and sobbed on the floor of my parents’ house for like half an hour. Then I pet my cat for a bit and then my father drove me back to my apartment which is not normally something he would ever do but I guess my hysterical breakdown for absolutely no reason got to him. I continued my reread of Just Mercy (in select theaters now, everywhere January 10th) in the car. When I got home I dropped my stuff and went to pick up a prescription. (The subway car I was in still had the 9 train sign in it. That was pretty wild because the 9 train was discontinued fifteen years ago.) Then I came back home and unpacked and got ready for bed at like 8:30 because acting nuts all day is exhausting. And that’s everything I did today.
