tbh our cats are like. the straight A students of cats. the honor roll children. not in an intelligence way of course bc theyre all stupid as all hell but all things considered they're VERY well behaved. none of them try to run outside anymore (Barold used to but...I'll get to that in a sec). they are all very affectionate and don't mind being picked up or petted and snuggled. they will in fact crawl all over us and flop/perch/curl up on and around us whenever we're on the couch or in bed. they mostly get along with each other (still only tolerating Amelie but the boys have loved each other since like 2 weeks after meeting).

one time a couple weeks ago I went out to meet June after work and we stopped for food and nobody was home for like 45 minutes and I didn't close the front door all the way apparently. so when we got back Barold was waiting at the corner of the building, literally right beside where the door is, meowing at us. LIKE??? SIR????? and we were so freaked out bc oh god what if the other two got out but. nope. they were inside just fine and dandy. didn't care at all about the potential for Outside. Barold went straight back inside with us too! don't know what he was doing that whole time but he was perfectly safe and sound outside our door when we arrived so we think he didn't go far (we live on a busy main road...would've been a REAL issue if hed tried to go anywhere).

Amelie was a stray for at least a year if not 2 years before we got her and she has ABSOLUTELY no interest in going back outside!!! she just watches birds from the window and is totally chill with that. and Lucky doesn't try to go out either bc he's scared of outside and that's fine by me. these babies are actually kinda perfect for us even if they're menaces sometimes.
