So Ik Im basically just saying “The sky is blue” with this rant but Im still gonna talk abt it cause I love how they parallel each other so much.

At first when you get into kkm the similarities between Yuuram and Adalbert X Julia is quite small, Their dynamics seem 2 be completely different: While Adalbert seems to have respected Julia A LOT and I doubt he was out here calling her a Wimp like Wolfram initally does and I doubt Julia&Adalberts engagment started negatively- BUT One of their core similarities are their loyalties, Adalbert is intensely loyal to Julia even after her death, to the point that he abandoned his country and his ppl. Wolfram is ALSO intensely loyal to Yuuri, he follows him to caloria, he takes an arrow for him, Yuuri makes him a better person, I can't say at this point of the story if Wolfram would ever be willing to abandon Mazoku for Yuuri hes a patriot at the end of the day but if the novel had continued I do believe a part of his character arc would've progressed into being able 2 fully accept shini makokus flaws tho I still dont think he'd ever abandon it.

Yuuram and how its better than Adaila:

I think whether it was intentional or not Yuuram is supposed 2 be Juliabert if it was better, Ive talked abt this before but all of Julia's MAIN love interests (except Gisela) have an issue where they refuse to let go, they think they're entitled to Julia and her soul (Yuuri) just because they refuse to accept the fact she killed herself for shini mazoku, Conrad is initally only so dedicated to Yuuri because of Julia's soul, he thinks he needs 2 be protective of Yuuri because hed failed Julia he did view Yuuri as Julia, Adalbert almost kills Yuuri on multiple occasions until Yuuri is revealed to have Julia's soul. Wolfram just doesn't have this issue, his story with Yuuri starts fresh with no previous impressions on what Yuuri should and shouldn't act like, hes not scared of a little blasphemy to tell yuuri he's right or wrong and he can obviously accept his faults, The reason I said earlier that Wolfram would never abandon shini makoku is because I think unlike Adalbert&Conrad Wolfram would accept Yuuris wishes whether he likes them or not, If yuuri were to hypothetically khs for Shini makoku Wolfram would feel grief but I think in the end he'd work to honor Yuuris death instead of blatantly going against it.

In the end I think Adalbert&Julia&Conrads dynamic was based on obsession instead of love (even tho they both loved Julia) While Yuurams dynamic is based on growing love.
