Wild Garlic aka Bear Garlic
at least in Czechia & Slovakia—its season is here. It was supposed to be a soup.
Mummies
I love summer rolls. Well, these are not the real ones, but kinda my version of them made from what I had at home. Anyway, I usually call the mummies ’cause… I don’t even know… They just look like mummies and that’s it :D
As it is the season of bear garlic, I ate it with bear’s garlic pesto mixed with curd cheese and it was real good ;)
Even if you are in the forest to harvest some bear garlic, you can still see the mountains and the lake. Do you know what lake it is?
It’s bear garlic season! We found a forest full of it. Does it make you want to make some bear garlic pesto too?
Luckily I used the app last year and found the exact spot again!

Variegated wild garlic (Allium ursinum) found in woodlands at the Ness Islands, Inverness.
