THE PLANTS OF ACCOMPLISHED LIGHT
ALBAN HEFIN
The Time of the Sun at Its Zenith
When the sun reaches its highest point,
the world enters a state of luminous stillness.
It is no longer the time of growth.
It is no longer the time of renewal.
It is not yet the time of decline.
It is the time of full intensity.
At Alban Hefin, the light is complete.
It no longer reveals what is being born,
but what stands firmly in its maturity.
Life no longer moves toward becoming.
It learns to remain steadfast in its fulfillment.
The Gate of the Steadfast Sun
In the cosmology of the Poet Wanderer,
Alban Hefin is the Gate of Solar Stability.
Light no longer seeks to overcome the darkness.
It seeks to preserve balance.
The danger is no longer the shadow.
The danger is excess.
Excess of strength.
Excess of heat.
Excess of light.
The Poet Wanderer discovers that all true power requires right measure.
The Three Circles of Accomplished Light
At Alban Hefin, three movements sustain the living world:
Vitality, which strengthens the forces of the body.
Regulation, which brings balance to the currents of life.
Harmony, which unites every force within a single light.
These three circles do not oppose one another.
They complete one another.
They allow the sun to remain creative without becoming destructive.
Opening Triad
Three things open the Gate of Accomplished Light:
That which strengthens without hardening,
That which balances without weakening,
That which harmonizes without scattering.
The Guardians of Accomplished Light
Nine plants accompany the passage of Alban Hefin.
They are no longer plants of thresholds,
nor of renewal,
nor of flowering.
They are the Guardians of Accomplished Light.
Nettle awakens vital power.
Watercress sets that power in motion.
Wild Garlic protects it in its full intensity.
Dandelion purifies the living currents.
Plantain soothes the tensions of the body.
Chicory cleanses the depths and restores inner balance.
Sorrel nourishes and refreshes the living being.
Wild Marjoram - Oregano harmonizes scattered forces.
Hyssop gathers every energy into a single luminous unity.
Teaching of the Poet Wanderer
When the sun reaches its highest point,
seek no longer to grow.
Seek instead to remain true.
For strength without balance consumes.
Balance without harmony remains fragile.
But when vitality,
regulation,
and harmony breathe together,
light becomes wisdom.
Opening the Journey
Thus begins the cycle of Accomplished Light.
The Poet Wanderer discovers that the true summit is not domination,
but the peaceful mastery of every force that dwells within the living world.
For the sun at its zenith is not an ending.
It is the art of shining without ever disturbing the balance of the world.
