Hey, so Still Water knows about what happened now. She's on her way.

Why? Are you afraid to be vulnerable with her because you think she'll leave you if you tell her the truth? Or is it the opposite? You're afraid that she'll accept you with open arms, and with that, you'll have to reckon with the fact that you could've told her the truth this whole time, and avoided a fair amount of this mess? Is it near impossible for even you to see through your own lies, so you decided to simply give up on trying to tell her the truth entirely, instead of putting in the effort to discern fact from fiction? Or is it something else entirely? After all, it's quite drastic to say you'd put yourself through physical harm instead of telling someone who cares about you how you feel.

Or, maybe, hear me out: You talk to her about how you feel and be vulnerable with her. Stop ignoring and pushing down your feelings, and don't project them onto people who don't deserve that sort of reaction.

I don't think she was angry. That wasn't the vibe I was getting from her. I think she was more hurt, maybe frustrated at most. It'll take some time, sure, but I'm sure she won't be upset forever.

What do you mean, she's shown no interest in being there? Have you ever thought that maybe she's just been busy? She can't create portals, either, so it's a LONG ways away for her as well.
