A friend commented recently that lineart on my sketches is good and I don't need adding further lineart to finish them....so I got his word for it and I decided to take his advice today that I was practicing back views. This one started as a sketch that then I colored, cos I thought it was coming out well, and I got too excited with it, hehe.

Alora voilà my original character Estelle! At one point of my story she worked as a beach lifeguard, and she's french so I thought it was going to be cool to make an illustration about it, a great opportunity to make her a clothes desing according!

And yes, I got inspired by real life french lifeguard outfits and I think it came out nicely ( so it was not in vain I spent hours looking of them XD) I don’t know why they like to bear french flag colors on their outfits very often, but I find it cool! So I tried to do that for my clothes desing. Also, they often write “lifeguard” of their clothes, either in french or english sometimes. But I like more in french so I did it in french.

Fun fact, at first I was drawing her a bikini rather than this one, that is more of a short short, but I thought probably in real life they wouldn’t wear that cos it’s not very practic. Or at least on real life I’ve never seen a female lifeguard with one. So that’s why I didn’t post that one, Also cos I risk tumblr moderators take it down.

Also in part cos I'm not sure if you’d be interested on that, and I wouldn’t like to give the impression that I’m forcing someone to see pinup art, I've heard lot’s of people don’t like them. But if you would like to see that version I might share it personally ^^

Anyways, I think I’m not quite convinced with this sketchy lineart, so I might erase it and make a proper lineart later, tomorrow maybe, cos today is late already. But meanwhile, I hope you like this!
