My students had the most fantastic opportunity last Friday... they got the chance to MAKE A DIFFERENCE and collect plastic and other trash at Bolsa Chica. After only about 40 minutes of "sweeping" a section of the beach, we found about 35 pounds of plastic that would eventually go to the ocean and poison and kill life.
