Seen HotD S3 Ep1. Spoilers below:
Spoilers:
Sheepstealer first scene. Cont. of Rhaena meeting Sheepstealer and getting a closer look at the dragon. V. cool and terrifying design. Love it. Rhaena finally rode her. Sheepstealer pretty much brought her somewhere away ala Drogon to Danny. Kinda sweet of him to keep her alive... by giving her a dead goat or something.
Larys & aegon II halted in a land allied with Rhaenyra and were both asked to kneel. Aegon II refused to, but Larys admitted who Aegon II and presented his crown as proof. Larys told them they could kill them or they could deliver Larys and Aegon II as two living hostages to the queen.
Side note here: I'm pretty sure that some of the shield carried by some background soldiers has the Connington heraldry, but Conningtons are allied to the Greens iirc. I could be wrong w/ the heraldry ofc.
Alicent returned to KL w/ Aemond on the throne and was told that Aegon disappeared with Larys.
Winter Wolves finally catching up w/ Daemon and co and Roderick Dustin delivering Jason Lannister's head aaaahhhh
Halaena saying Aemond is afraid. "After he claimed Vhaegar, he forgot what fear was, but he remembers now."
Alicent urging Aemond to fly to Harrenhaal, and—I'm not making this up chat—Aemond just kissed Alicent on the lips. JFC I don't know anymore.
Alys coming across the 3 dragonseeds: Hugh, Ulf, and Addam. Dunno what's the purpose of this scene yet.
Jace ordering a Queensguard to lock and bar Rhaenyra who was ready to go to the Gullet. Him and Baela riding out to aid the Velaryon ships. The bulk of the Battle of the Gullet focuses more on the naval battle, Corlys vs. Lohar.
Vermax getting hit by Lohar. You know where this leads, and, yes, Vermax and Jace dies by the end in this episode. My boys. :(((((
Rhaena arriving in the Gullet with Sheepstealer is 🔥 at first, until m'boi also burned a Velaryon ships and men lmao and wanted to engage Baela and Moondancer in a fight. M'boi also wants to kill Vermax and Jace (this sorta causes Vermax to get another major hit and leads to his and Jace's eventual death). Ngl made me laugh thinking of an equal opportunist dragon.
Alynn actually calling Corlys "Father" out of worry. Alyn is also the one to kill Lohar.
No Daeron the Daring yet, which is a shame since we got a scene of Ormund Hightower first before him. Tessarion looks great tho My Blue Queen. 💙💙💙
I was also looking for Aegon and Viserys during the Gullet scene, but I might have missed something in the dialogue that mentioned them, idk.
