Our Bridge Training was the last part of Day 1. We got a surprise visit from a wonderful crew member and even got to go on a secret mission.

Day 2 was Batuu day and boy did we have a lot of adventures! BD-4 posed for lots of pictures while we were out and about and helped me out in my business meeting for scrap metal😁
Originally BD was supposed to ride on my shoulder like usual, but their legs were acting up and so we decided it would be best if they straddled my bag and rode along that way temporarily.
After dinner we played some Sabbac with my family and some other passengers. BD had fun beeping at us and helping Sandro with his song. We may have contributed to his trouble with the First Order. Whoops!
Day 1 BD joined us for dinner, so they got to watch Gaya with us. We thought the show was fantastic, and a great distraction from the circumstances we found ourselves. We could have gone without that interruption though. Not only did Lt. Croy arrived late but then he left in the middle of the show. Can't say I was surprised by the First Order's lack of manners.
BD-4 and I actually traveled to the Halcyon separately. They had gone to get a new paint job from a friend who was also going to be traveling on the Halcyon, so BD and I reunited there.

About Me
My parents were born around the time the Galactic Empire came into being. I enjoyed building and tinkering so when I came of age, I attended Corellia University’s School of Starship Engineering. My instructors convinced me to stay and take a research position in the school after I graduated in 31 ABY.
Officially, I focus on improving ship efficiency, but I also spend time learning and experimenting to incorporate the Force and old Force wielder technologies into ships. I've journeyed into the caves on Corellia to seek out Kyber crystals to incorporate those into my designs, and into shipwrecks across the galaxy where I found a Jedi Credit. Through research I discovered its history among Corellian Jedi, so I keep it close as a reminder and connection to my past and the life I might have had if the galaxy were not torn asunder.
When the First Order attacked and started a planetary occupation of Corellia in 34 ABY, I was kept on as a researcher but told to divert focus to weapons design. I tried to continue my force work in secret at my home instead of the lab, but with the First Order Planetary Occupation I could not take trips to scavenge for parts without causing suspicion and so it became more dangerous and difficult to find scrap pieces that I could study and incorporate into my designs.
However, within the year, one of my contacts reached out to me about rumors of a group on Batuu called the Gatherers who might be able to help. So, under the guise of a relaxing vacation aboard the Halcyon I set out to continue my work, and maybe have a little downtime.
I enjoy skiing in Corellia’s mountains, making music in several different music groups singing and/or playing drums, and acting in local companies in and around Coronet City.
BD-4 and I are quite a match, BD-4 was damaged on a trip and now can’t be fixed without totally overhauling their system and resetting them, so they aren't able to move very fast and sometimes needs help standing. I got sick while a student at the university which caused an existing condition to worsen, resulting in difficulty with physical exertion and requiring adjustments to my diet and sleep. It also caused issues with my brain meaning that I often finds myself having a hard time remembering specific words, especially in languages other than Basic, but luckily the university sometimes allows me to take a protocol droid if I'm traveling somewhere most don't speak Basic.
Hi everyone! I'm Janus Pavan and my best friend and wonderful assistant is BD-4. We work at Corellia University's School of Starship Engineering, and traveled aboard the Halycon for its 275th anniversary voyage to Batuu.
