I opened one of the Amazon boxes first, and hey ho - look at the gorgeousness that is that Trenton Lee Stewart set!! *sobs* I love The Mysterious Benedict Society trilogy, and haven’t really gotten around to reading The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict so I figured it’s about time to do a re-read on the trilogy and read the fourth book. Very very excited I cannot.

A Gathering of Shadows and Trials of Apollo: Hidden Oracle

I loved ADSoM so much and just couldn’t get enough of Kell and Lila and Rhy so obvs I had to get the sequel - and it’s thicker than the first one?!?!?! AHHHH SEND MY SOUL TO HEAVEN PLS I actually wasn’t going to get ToA until it comes out as a paperback because my shelf is currently suffering from all the hardback Riordan books - you’ll see what I mean in a minute - but because cheeky little birdies had let loose a cheeky little ship being canon - of course I had to get it. I’m trash. I really am.

You don’t know how difficult it was to keep all these boxes piling up beside my bed, waiting for the rest to come in so I can open them all together. The wait was agonising.

I accidentally opened the PJO box tho - it was an accident, I swear!! - because I thought it was another order that had nothing to do with my books. I didn’t expect it to be so light tbh.
