TENDERNESS

You are not afraid of the sufferings and sorrows of other people, even when they are acted out in unappealing ways. "I didn’t even realize that it’d only take one alcoholic-laid kiss for someone to have a crush on me. But I guess that’s what I get for expecting everything to go a certain way. He’s definitely someone I could call a friend and I know he’s hoping for more. It’s hard with him being so nice and handsome... and he knows the culinary arts. But with his situation and mine just not jiving with one another, I’m afraid friends is where it will stay. I do have to admit though he speaks odd, even for someone in Limsa. Hmm...”

Lance sighed momentarily before answering. 

“The simple answer to that would be ‘yes.’ Yes, I would have done it. I did ask you if you would have wanted to do it again. Your answer to that was ‘It’s complicated.’”

Lance gave a slight nod.

“Because you’re right. It IS complicated. I would have done it, but I’d have waited for the right moment and the right time. Doing that under the makeshift bridge with loosened inhibitions is never the right time nor place for that kind of thing.”

A pause, then a small sigh.

“I hope that answers your question, Baxter.”

First to confesstheir feelings: Muya, I think it was her anyway.  IIRC, she matter-of-factly told him herfeelings.

First to apologizeafter a fight: Probably Baxter though it depends with Muya.  If she was in the wrong and she knows it, shewill likely be first to apologize.  

First to wake up: DefinitelyBaxter.  Muya is an early riser but she’sgot nothing on baker man.

First to fall asleep:I feel like probably Baxter but Muya isn’t one to stay up late either.  She likely just takes longer to drift off.

The affectionate one:Baxter.  Muya is affectionate but she’sreserved.  Baxter seems to have no suchreservations (and honestly Muya loves him for it).

The money savvy one: Muya.  Living for years on her own in an unfamiliarcity, she learned to be very frugal with what she has.

The more charismaticone: Baxter, no doubt.  He’s far morefriendly and outgoing and very charming.

The better caregiver whenthe other is sick: Muya.  She already has a very nurturing streak inher that simply becomes more pronounced when someone she loves is sick.

Does the cooking:Baxter, duh.  He’s a baker.  Muya can barely make tea.

Does the housework:Muya but with liiiiimited success.  Shedoes clean!  But her cleaning tends to be…organized chaos so to speak.

Does most of thespeaking: Baxter.  Remember when Isaid charming?  He’s very charming.  And flirty. Muya, again, is very reserved and quiet.

Designated driver:Muya.  She’s not much of a drinker and ismuch more likely to nurse ONE glass of wine for the entire night.

Has good penmanship:Ahhhhhh this one I don’t know but I feel like probably Muya.  She has very flowy, loopy cursive.

Has a troubled past:Baxter probably a bit more than Muya. Both of them have had to deal with being foreigners in a foreign landand while Muya had to deal with some of the problems that came with being anAla Mhigan refugee, it’s nothing compared to what Baxter’s probably feared forand dealt with.  (Plus his bakeryexploded, there’s that.)

Has more experiencewith relationships: Baxter, probably. Muya only had one relationship before him.

Keeps more secrets inthe relationship: Muya, probably. Reserved is the word I keep bringing up. It’s not that she keeps secrets, per se, but she has things she isn’tlikely to talk about unless asked or proded.

Sensitive to subtlechanges in their partner: Muya.  She’svery perceptive, being a listener.

The one who proposes:Probably Baxter.  Muya is a Seeker somarriage isn’t really a big thing for her.

The one who diesprotecting their partner: Baxter, probably. He would protecc the cinnamon bun.
