Hi all! Wanted to share a snippit of my Skystar fic im writing.....
This is all totally unedited and not beta read like at all, so things may or may not change in the final draft!! I just really really liked this scene.
Info: The fic is going to be called "From the Barrel of Your Eyes" and is a Jetfire/Starscream AU fic. Tags include but are not limited to: lovers to strangers/enemies, strangers to lovers, enemies to lovers, and abo. Alpha Starscream and Enigma Jetfire came to me in a dream.

Starscream’s optics moved up his frame, drinking him in. Observing him. He was always observing, red optics calculating. It was something Jetfire always admired, though he admired a lot of things about the seeker. From his cunning and ambition and his attitude that infuriated most, amongst other things that made his processor spin.
“There was another reason I wanted you to come here. To pick your processor.”
“Oh?” Jetfire wasn’t surprised. Starscream always had an ulterior motive, especially after asking for a favor as intimate as this one.
“I found a planet that might have energon sources.” He spoke lowly, optics flickering up to meet Jetfire’s surprised ones. “It’s uncharted. Uninhabited I think.”
“How did you find it?”
“Doesn’t matter. I don’t trust anyone else to come with me.”
Jetfire considered the seeker’s words for a few moments. Words couldn’t possibly overstate his interest, and given that Starscream knew Jetfire’s history with environmental exploration sciences, and that Jetfire was the only mech Starscream actually let close, he understood why he would ask something like this.
“It’s a calculated risk,” The shuttle began slowly, thoughtfully. Starscream waited for him to continue. “But despite the risks, I can’t begin to overstate my excitement for an opportunity like this.”
“I knew you would feel that way.” It’s why I asked you to come with me. The words were unspoken, but there.
“You just know me all too well.” He moved in to press his derma to Starscream’s.
Man, when I first had the idea for Dark Side of the Moon I wasn't initially planning on adding so much.
Brainstorming with some other fans of bloodymary has brought me into actually outsourcing and doing some other research for the fic because idk I want it to be at least a little accurate (or at least as accurate as I can make it)
I'm really excited to share everything but definitely looking into things I never would have thought to look into lol.
Anyways, chapter 3 is going to take me a bit longer to put out than the first two chapters due to moving reasons, but I'm trying to keep everyone updated and im working on pieces at a time y'know?

if anyone would be interested in a server for Dark Side of the Moon i plan on making one... mostly for myself to keep track of things as i work, but sometimes people are interested in that kinda thing so i wanna see if its something people would be interested in.
mmmm i have more ideas for 'Dark Side of the Moon' so just hear me out for a sec gang...
First of all I would love to add some of the game stuff to the fic, kinda like a mash up between the game and Mark's movie because I like some of the things from the game and wanna include (like interacting with the terminal and discovering information.)
And for the second thing.... I've been having thoughts during my reaserch for this fanfic, and I would really really love to go in depth with Eden and the C.O.I's lore... I have many ideas inspired from other media that I think would slot in very well with Iron Lung's universe... I won't go into much more detail than that, but expect an expansion on what Eden really is and why they and the C.O.I are really at war... it's juicy asf I SWEAR!
