A nice, quiet and undisturbed place was always going to be your favorite place to relax.  Too often you had cameras jammed in your face or brothers yelling and arguing in your space, and you just couldn’t handle that all the time.  Even in a home where there were no neighbors to be found for miles in every direction, there was constantly just so much going on around you, it was often difficult to find enough quiet to truly rest.
You were pretty sure only one person knew about your favorite spot in the manor, and that was Alfred, and only because he made sure it became a pleasant sanctuary for you in the chaos of Gotham.  You had created your own little reading nook in the space under one of the lesser used staircases.  It had everything you needed to give you your reprieve from the world; comfortably soft yet supportive with the pillows and blankets you’d picked out, the lighting was just right, and Alfred always made sure you were well stocked on snacks in there.
This week had been a bit much for you. Â It seemed like every night there was something new to keep you awake - a new stressor, the anxiety of a new manhunt in Gotham, or some sort of sibling war. Â There were a lot of thing you needed to feel better, but nothing more than sleep and relaxation away from everyone and everything.
Your brothers had begun to worry about you.  They knew some of the stress they had been putting you under and wanted to try and make it up to you.  Dick had come up with a plan to treat you to a spa day where you could let the weight of the world melt off your shoulders.  The biggest contingency to this plan was you.  If he couldn’t get you to participate today, how was he going to keep the rest of your brothers involved.
After more solo searching than he would care to admit, Dick finally asked Jason, Tim and Damian for some help finding you.  They were all at a dead end.  Tim had already checked the security footage around the property, determining you’d never left the property.
“Great plan, Grayson,” Jason quipped after an hour of searching. “How do you expect to spend time with Y/N if we can’t find her?”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she was hiding from your sour puss attitude and snark,” Dick retorted.  He was getting frustrated and nearing a point where he was going to start another of the fights that had been bothering you this week.
Before the argument could bloom into a full blown fight, Alfred caught Damian’s eye while carrying some of your snacks.  Stealthily, or as stealthily someone can be while following Alfred, the boys all followed Alfred.  Curious at the pursuit, your dad joined your brothers, all watching in awe as Alfred opened up your little reading nook.
The moment Alfred left to begin working on lunch, the rest of your family descended upon the nook.  They were all ready to ask you rapidfire questions about how and why you had created this space, as if a secret sanctuary did not already scream “Bruce Wayne’s kid,” but they were quickly cut off when they found you curled up and fast asleep.  Before backing away from the nook, your dad made sure to adjust your blanket, giving you a snuggly rest.
“Well, I think our work here is done,” Dick announced. “Clearly Y/N’s pretty relaxed.”
