The flag of Batken region , Kyrgyzstan.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The yellow stripe on the left is a national pattern also used in folk clothes and yurts(movable houses that Kyrgyz people used to live in). The flowers name is Aigul and it symbolises the region. 6 stars refer to 3 subdivision and 3 cities in the region.

Flag of the Batken Region
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The Batken Region is the southwesternmost oblast of Kyrgyzstan. It was formed in 1999 as a response to the activities of the Islamic Movement for Uzbekistan and is notable for it's Uzbek and Tajik exclaves.
Mount Aigul-Tash is located near the village of Kara-Bulak in the Batken region. The mountain has steep rocky slopes. This place is unique in that only here the flower-endemic Aigul grows. It is mysterious and incredibly beautiful, its petals are fiery orange. "Moon flower" Aigul is listed in the Red Book. The flower blooms only two weeks a year, in early April, so it will be a great success to see it at this time. Currently, on the territory where Mount Aigul-Tash and its environs are located, a state reserve has been formed. Reference: Aigul flower is the scientific name of the hazel grouse-eduardo flower. The peculiarity of this flower is that it does not grow in the sunny side of the mountains. Aigul flower is one meter high, with long green leaves that grow all over the stems, and red-yellow bell-shaped petals. Aigul blooms in April, so every year in April, the Flower holiday is celebrated from generation to generation. The flower is placed on the flag and coat of arms of the Batken region. The legend about "Aigul-Tash" Legend has it that a long time ago, in the very place where the "moon flower" grows today, the girl Aigul died from grief. In ancient times, a rich man lived in those parts. And he had a beautiful daughter, Aigul, who was famous for her intelligence and beauty. She had a lover named Kozu Ulan - a warrior of heroic strength. But in one of the battles Kozu Ulan and all his soldiers fell, and the brothers brought the heart of a brave horseman to the aul. Aigul could not bear the grief, climbed the mountain and threw herself off the cliff. In the spring, in those places where the drops of the girl's blood fell, amazing flowers grew. And people began to call them Aigul-gulu, and the mountain was called Aigul-Tash. The mountain opposite, where the heart of her beloved was buried, was named Kozu-Ulan. These mountains form a gate at the entrance to the village of Kara-Bulak. #aygul #flower #blossom #mountain #batken #redbook #grouse #kyrgyzstan #kyrgyzguides (at Batken, Kyrgyzstan) https://www.instagram.com/p/COJT6_nniVi/?igshid=y9lqfnc53z5c
