Batfink
Created by Hal Seeger, Batfink was a comedy/action cartoon that chronicled the adventures of a super-powered bat who fought crime alongside his trusty partner, Karate. When called upon by the police chief, Batfink sings into action, flying on his black metal wings and using his supersonic sonar radar to battle crime.
Batfink rides in a customized pink car (called the ‘Battillac’) with scalloped rear fins and bat-winged red "B" emblems on the doors and hood. His sidekick, Kara Te, is strong as an ox and has a utility sleeve from which he can retrieve all manner of handy devices. The pair’s main adversary is the diabolical scientist, Hugo A-Go-Go.
Released in April of 1966, Batfink was a homage/parody of the then popular television series Batman and The Green Hornet. Actor Frank Buxton provided the voice for Batfink with actor Len Maxwell voicing Karate. The show ran for 100 action packed episodes.
Superheroes that inspired Galaxica.
